- Registration
Please fill in and send us the enrolment sheet. We will send you
your confirmation and ask you to pay the first installment:
• For all intensive, special intensive and summer courses:
€uro 200,-
• For evening courses: €uro
50,-
• For mini-group and individual courses: 10
units in advance.
If you need a visa for a course we'll need a first payment of
€ 200,- for each enroled month.
Once this payment has been received, we will send you a confirmation
of enrolment which you can present to the German Embassy in your
home country.

- Public holidays and contents
There is no language course on public
holidays. We reserve the right to make changes to the course content.
- Terms of payment
3.1. It is the student's duty to pay
the fees in time. For our classes all fees must be paid by the
second course day at the latest. Fees for Mini-Groups and Private
Lessons must be paid in advance.
3.2. If the student does not attend the classes or discontinues
attendance before the course ends, we have the right to demand
the entire course fees as well as the whole rent payment (where
relevant).
- Price reduction
As specified in the programme, pupils,
students, au-pair and unemployed people get a price reduction
upon presentation of a valid identification.
- Registration fee
A registration fee is imposed for all
German Intensive Courses. This fee is due on
the first day of classes.
- Cancellation
6.1. It is possible to cancel any time
before the course starts. In some cases participation in a later
language course will be accepted. A cancellation must be made
in writing. A booking of a substitute student can be accepted.
6.2. If the cancellation order arrives not less than six weeks
before the course is to start a fee for administrative costs of
€ 50,- must be paid. We will refund the amount paid in advance
exceeding € 50,-
6.3. For a cancellation at a later date there will be compensation
fees for costs that have accumulated, minimum of € 50,- at
most the full course fees.
6.4. If a student discontinues a language course for reasons TANDEM
München e.V. cannot be held responsible for, fees or parts
thereof will not be refunded. Fees still due will have to be paid.
6.5. Private lessons & Mini-group courses: In exceptional
cases, it is possible to cancel a planned class up to 24 hrs before
it takes place. Should a planned class be cancelled within the
24 hrs preceding it, it must nevertheless be paid in full.
6.6. Classes that have not been attended can neither be refunded
nor taken at a later date.
- Cancellation for participants which
need a visa
If the participant is not granted a visa, TANDEM München
e.V. will reimburse the down payment, retaining a processing fee
of € 50,- only if written confirmation from the German Embassy
or the Immigration Office that it has refused to issue a visa
is produced.
- Responsibilities of participants
Every participant is responsible for
him/herself. The school is not held responsible for possible losses,
damages or injury of persons or property. We recommend that students
effect liability, accident and health insurances.
- Accommodation service
The reservation of a room is only possible
if the participant is registered for a German Intensive, Superintensive
or Summer Course.
- Non-implementation
Should the enrolment in a course be too
low, or should it not be possible, through circumstances out of
our control, to carry through a course, TANDEM München e.V.
reserves the right to cancel the course, or after the agreement
of the participants, to shorten its duration or to replace the
course with a corresponding number of private lessons. In such
cases, the registered participants will be informed in due time
before the start of the course.
- Data security
With the students' consent, their data
are processed electronically. Personal data will at no time be
passed on to third parties.
- Place and Court of Jurisdication
12.1. Place and Court of Jurisdication is Munich, Germany.
12.2. German law applies.
