German Summer Intensive Courses in Munich - 20 units per week

This is the perfect way to learn German quickly and to get to know Munich at the same time!

The German summer intensive courses (offered on July and August) are identical to the German intensive courses and are complimented by an interesting and extensive leisure programme consisting of 3 activities per week. For example we run trips to Chiemsee, Salzburg, Dachau, historical castles and much more. Also on offer are excursions to museums, beergardens, films, the theatre, art exhibitions, sports activities and bicycle and city tours.

The German summer intensive courses are held from Monday to Friday and comprise 20 units per week. There are 4 to 10 participants in each course, taught by two teachers, each of whom takes the group for two to three days per week.

The materials you'll need for the course (books and photocopies) and a TANDEM-learning partnership are included in the price and provided by the school.

The registration fee includes: placement test, course materials, leisure programme (3 activities per week, transport and entrance fees not included), certificate of attendance, course card and Tandem® learning partnerships (where available).

If Monday is a public holiday, courses start on Tuesday. We recommend a minimum course lenght of 2 weeks. Minimum age is 17. We accept students at all  levels.

The German intensive courses, German superintensive courses and the German summer intensive courses are organized in concurrent four-week blocks. At the beginning of each new block we (re-) assess each participant and assign new levels. It is possible that lessons will not take place on these days.

A level is completed after 140 units. We use the text books Begegnungen at Beginner Level and the text books Erkundungen and Aspekteat Intermediate Level. These are all supplemented with our own material.

The school is closed on the following National Holidays:

01/06; 04/06; 04/09; 05/01; 05/17; 05/28; 06/07; 08/15; 10/03; 11/01 and from
December 22, 2012 until January 7, 2013

Lessons which do not take place because of a National Holiday will not be made up for.
