Summer German courses in Munich
The German Summer Courses offer an ideal way to learn German intensively while experiencing Munich! These courses include 16, 18, or 20 teaching units (TU) per week, complemented by a rich and diverse leisure and cultural program, featuring three activities per week.

Activities range from trips to nearby destinations like Chiemsee, Salzburg, and Dachau, to castle tours, city walks, bike rides, theater and movie outings, visits to beer gardens, exhibitions, sports, and more.
Classes are held from Monday to Thursday or Friday, with a maximum of 10 students per group. Each course is taught by two different teachers who alternate days. We offer courses for all levels, from A1 to C2.
If 16 lessons per week aren't enough for you, you can expand your schedule with additional modules on Friday mornings, increasing your weekly total to 18 or 20 lessons.
We also offer TANDEM language partnerships that complement the German Summer Courses.

Information on German summer courses
- Small groups: 4 to 10 participants
- 16, 18 or 20 teaching units (TU) per week (1 TU = 45 min)
- Lessons from Monday to Thursday (with additional modules: Monday to Friday)
- Class times: 9.30 am to 1.00 pm and occasionally from 1.30 pm to 4.45 pm
- Optional modules of 2 teaching units (TU) each available every Friday
- Learning progression: A complete level takes about 128 to 160 teaching units (2 months)
- 2 teachers in each group
- All Levels: A1 - C2

The service fee includes: German placement test, your first course book (further books can be purchased at the office), leisure programme (3 activities per week, transport and entrance fees not included), certificate of attendance, course card and TANDEM® learning partnerships (where available).
If Monday is a public holiday, the German intensive courses start on Tuesday. We recommend a minimum course length of 2 weeks. Minimum age is 18. We accept students at all levels.
The German intensive courses, German visa language courses and German summer intensive courses are organised in concurrent four-week blocks.
A level is completed after 128 to 160 units. We use the textbooks Spektrum at beginner level and the textbooks Erkundungen or Aspekte neu at intermediate level. These are all supplemented by our own material.
The school is closed on the following public holidays:

There are no replacement lessons for those missed because of a public holiday.
